The Li猫ge Park development project reflects the City of Brossard鈥檚 commitment to enhancing its network of neighbourhood parks and providing local public spaces that meet the needs of families, young children, and area residents. Located at the intersection of Boulevard de Rome and Rue Lautrec, in immediate proximity to the Au pied de l鈥櫭ヽhelle daycare centre, the park is a strategic neighbourhood amenity designed to become a daily gathering and relaxation space.

We delivered the full scope of professional services in landscape architecture and engineering, including the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates, tendering assistance, and construction supervision. The project aimed to transform a vacant space into a structured, safe, and attractive park offering a diversity of uses and a high-quality design.

The design concept is based on a farm animal theme, intended to stimulate children鈥檚 imagination and create a distinctive play experience. The central feature of the park is a large splash pad, divided into separate zones by age group鈥攐ne for toddlers (ages 2 to 5) and another for older children (ages 5 to 12)鈥攑roviding a safe and engaging environment for families. Surrounding the play area, shaded seating areas enhanced by two shade structures, animal silhouettes in a 鈥渕eadow,鈥 and a variety of site furnishings contribute to user comfort and a welcoming atmosphere.

An ecological stormwater management strategy was integrated into the design, including site grading and plantings that support natural rainwater capture and improved environmental performance.

The park also prioritizes universal accessibility and seamless pedestrian connections with the surrounding neighbourhood.聽
