The Fa莽ade Engineering Team at 91影视 provides the specialist skills that are required to competently deliver the building envelope engineering and design for new builds, recladding and refurbishment projects subjected to the latest standards and regulations. Our scope of services is applicable during all phases from design and construction of the fa莽ade, through to post-completion.
Our involvement includes feasibility, concept and/or technical design stage, specification and procurement stage and/or during the construction, testing and installation stage. Our skills allow us to solve complex design challenges associated with the fa莽ade that often are intrinsically linked with structural, aesthetic, thermal, fire, acoustic, security, weathertightness, buildability, sustainability, maintenance and cost considerations.
The Team
Our team is a diverse group of talented designers and chartered engineers all belonging to the Society of Fa莽ade Engineers, a joint initiative of CIBSE, IStructE and the RIBA. The team Director, Zara Edwards is an elected member of the Society Board who collectively advance knowledge and practice in Fa莽ade Engineering. In addition to this, we are members of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) who are an industry funded body responsible for setting industry standards and producing guidance.
